Drawing from their years of hands-on experience in owning, investing, building, and actively managing short-term rentals, they created HelloBnB to empower fellow hosts with the knowledge and tools they need to excel in the vacation rental market.
As successful owners and operators of rental properties in the United States and the Riviera Maya, Domi & Diego have honed their expertise in maximizing the potential of their properties. Hailing from Mexico and Peru, they spent nearly two decades in Washington, DC, where they attended college, met, married, and started their family with beautiful twin girls. Recently, they embraced the tranquil, sun-kissed lifestyle of the Mexican Riviera, further expanding their short-term rental experiences.

A dedicated owner and highly rated Superhost, Dominique manages three exceptional short-term rental properties in the United States and the Riviera Maya. Her commitment to creating welcoming spaces is matched by her devotion to supporting rescued animals.
As the founder of AnimaDreams, Dominique showcases her innate talent for crafting captivating environments. Her eye for design is evident in both her short-term rentals and the work she has completed for numerous satisfied clients.
Holding a B.S. in Economics and a Master's degree from George Washington University, Dominique's strong academic background complements her artistic flair. This multidisciplinary approach enables her to bring a fresh perspective to each project, creating truly memorable spaces.
A passionate self-learner of technology and no-code solutions advocate, Diego excels at crafting user-friendly tools. His entrepreneurial ventures include co-founding Zen to Go, an in-home massage service in 9+ Mexican cities, investing in a Michelin-star restaurant, and managing three outstanding short-term rentals in the US and Mexico.
When not focused on his businesses, Diego is a proud #girldad to twins and a Senior Consultant in data and financial management, specializing in the public sector. He holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Maryland, College Park, and an MBA from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain.
Diego's diverse interests and strong academic background empower him to offer valuable insights to fellow short-term rental hosts, enhancing guest experiences and fostering success in the STR industry.
